Ring Nebula 3D Model Video
Video might not be playable with certain internet browsers and settings. With my desktop browser settings, it does not work in Chrome's Incognito mode (but works in "regular" mode) and does work in Microsoft Edge's InPrivate mode.
About This Video
This video from Hubblesite begins with a zoom into the constellation LYRA to the location of the Ring Nebula and the new image from the Hubble Space Telescope and the Large Binocular Telescope. The view cross-fades to a three-dimensional model of the Ring Nebula that was developed from the new observations. A circuit around the 3D model showcases the main ring structure, the perpendicular lobes, the spike-like emission in the shadows of dense knots, and the halos surrounding the nebula.

Blog Background
The background has three Hubble Space Telescope images:
— LH 95 is a star-forming region in the Large Magellanic Cloud, Dorado constellation.
— Ant Nebula (also called Menzel 3) is an aptly-named planetary nebula located in the constellation Norma.
— Egg Nebula (also called CL 2688) is a protoplanetary nebula in the constellation Cygnus.
