Boötes
BOÖTES (commonly spelled Bootes, without the diaeresis on the "o") the Herdsman is another medium-sized and bright constellation. Arcturus is the brightest star, with an apparent magnitude of -0.05. As far as the cosmic wonders, there are only a couple of faint galaxies and a globular cluster. There is a far-away galaxy cluster in the northeast part of the constellation's boundaries. The pretty noticeable-yet-small Corona Borealis is west of Boötes. Canes Venatici and Coma Berenices are east of the herdsman; unlike Boötes, these two constellations are abundant in galaxies. Now you know more about Boötes!

The background has three Hubble Space Telescope images:
— LH 95 is a star-forming region in the Large Magellanic Cloud, Dorado constellation.
— Ant Nebula (also called Menzel 3) is an aptly-named planetary nebula located in the constellation Norma.
— Egg Nebula (also called CL 2688) is a protoplanetary nebula in the constellation Cygnus.
